Hah I own this shoutbox and all who oppose me shall be cast out to toil in the fields of misery for all eternity, where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth. but yeah ahney kinda has a point but not really because without me this shoutbox would be as dead as something which died a long time ago...work that one out

YOU DO NOT DESERVE THE PRIVILEGE OF USING THE BDO SHOUT BOX THEN!

It took me ages to get in to Dizzee Rascal, and then out again. I'm gonna do Dropkick Murphys, then Fantomas, then get as close to Prodigy as I will be able to, which will probably be at Fantomas...

The crowd for Dizzee Rascal was ridiculous.

DKM will be easy to get a good spot.. prodigy probably not though. But im doing both, not too fussed about not actually being able to see prodigy.

In my experience you don't take your chances with the Boiler Room, because its closed in it makes it that much harder to get in an out, especially with acts on the scale of Hot Chip or The Prodigy. I've decided I'm gonna head there straight after the Mint Chicks.... which means no more Dropkick Murphys..... I'll have to see Hot Chip, which wasn't even close to being on my list, and Pee Wee Ferris (I have no idea who that is, but they have a pathetic last.fm page). Who knows, maybe it won't be too busy, but there's no way I'd get a good spot for both DKMs and The Prodigy.

was he? I got in easy but that's because i went in early... getting out was different... I remember a few years ago when Chemical Brothers played the boiler room, it was so packed that there were huge lines/crowds at the doors so people could see. I'm assuming it will be similar for Prodigy?

I got into Dizzee Rascal pretty easily last year and I heard he was the biggest crowd puller into the boiler room last year. Want to see Fantomas and Prodigy both, so will take my chances.

Bolier room is big, it's where they had edge fest. I think it holds a little less than vector does on the ground?? I duno? But you def wont be able to get into it easily. It packs right the fuck up.

mispic wrote:
na it will be too packed to try and enter hot chip mid way thru

i've never been into the boiler room, but thats where they used to hold edgefest right? from what i remember it was quite big. but i was small back then so maybe its not xD haha.

Has anyone seen Arctics and/or Hot Chip live? Can't afford to go to Arctics sideshow, want both, I'm thinking I'm gonna have to decide between one or the other to see a decent amount of either... What do I do?!?!? Also, how big is the boiler room? Just if i did ditch mid-Arctics, would it be physically possible to force my way in to the BR?

you will not get to see act you want to see. I have never done it and this is going to be my 5th BDO. if there are bands you really really want to see and theyre in the main stages or towards the end of the day it pays to get to their particular stage early just so you get a spot... otherwise you'll be stuck in a big line just trying to get there for their whole set.
