    Reporting some bugs here...

    *Not able to delete tags

*Changing pages when viewing tags as list does not work

*Tagging with the last.fm client does not show up in the recent activity

*The tag editor on the webpage tries to be smart, but fails.. why can't it just accept that I write "tag," and then not change it to "tag subtag" (which is already in my library)?

*When viewing tags of artists, where the artist have been tagged with yearsplit, it sometimes say "2007 - Array". (http://www.last.fm/user/Tecfan/library/tags?tag=norwegian&page=2)

*The "Shoutbox" heading is red color in paint-it-black on playlist pages (http://www.last.fm/user/Tecfan/library/playlists/1tuld_norwegian_last.fm_music)

*If you click on the image name from the recent activity feed on user pages when people have uploaded images to artists, the URL is: http://www.last.fm/user/test/images/8210387
(The image shows up though, but you can't vote or anything)

*In the Music Manager statistics it says: "Weekly Top Tracks Sun 20 Jul to Sun 27 Jul ". Las time I checked 20/27 July was Wednesdays...

    also:
If you tag via the software, it doesn't end up in your recent activity,

aand, the tag editor inpage doesn't work well either.. I write "christian", and then "norwegian christian music" pops up? it never does what I want.

Regarding the second part of your second post, they did suggest they were going to alter that in beta, but it doesn't seem to have happened. Which is really annoying as the current system's prone to doing what you say and giving me the wrong tags

you don't happen to know if these are all known "bugs"? Last.fm should really make their bug stuff public.. and have that Ideas thing I saw in another thread

okay I changed the topic and added some bugs to the list, I guess I should bump this to see if some staff member reads it.. it would be nice to get response if this is going to be fixed or not.

I believe the staffs have silently noted 'em down ;)

then I probably should bump this with a new bug:
If you click on the image name from the recent activity feed on user pages, the URL is: http://www.last.fm/user/test/images/8210387

I'd like to bring up some more "bugs" or.. problems..

First. I cant seem to find any way to delete my friends from the friends list.. Is it possible? Guide me. (One of my friends(?) got banned last year and she is still on my god damn list.. I want her to gtfo.)

Second. You guys are missing one country on the country or locations list...
Bat Country.. It should go somewhere in between Barbados and Belarus..
    Seriously.

Friends should disappear automatically after they've been banned, but if that's not happened you may be able to delete them yourself - open your friends list, and hover over the avatar of the friend you want to remove. An 'x' should appear in the corner, click that to remove them.

Technically, avenged sevenfold albums don't count as countries :P

  • I can´t join any group, nothing happens when I press the "join" button... I can´t listen to any of my radio stations or my library, somehow it just opens the right window and starts to play the music and it does that like 3 seconds or less and then jumps into the next song and the next one and the next one etc. These are the bugs I have found so far.

For some reason this doesn't seem to work on Opera 9.5 (Maybe im missing a plugin or something.)
Tried with Mozilla and everything worked perfectly. Thank you :3

Bat Country.. bwaahh.. why not <_<

    connection errors

have a problem with the software for listening music. When I play music then every once in a while it stops playing and gives a connection error (while my Internet is actually working normally); the music starts playing again after I click the play button but then may stop again after a while

I'm just going to use this post to report something weird:

    what?
  • Tecfan, this isn't really the right place for bug reports here; these should go into the website support forum best as one thread per issue (if there isn't any yet), for the feedback forum it says "Bugs do not belong here. " If you post things here you risk that they get lost in the wrong place; I just looked at this thread for the first time myself.

Your last issue seems to be this one here: http://www.last.fm/forum/21713/_/475404

okay, but I don't think that this was the original topic, I changed this thread constantly when the site was new, but thanks for the reminder, can probably lock this thread now
  • Yes, I saw that. :) I think the originally mentioned issues are pretty much resolved now.

well ... I still miss the *promised* 'to be able to delete tags'-feature;)
