The ability to change username would be a great feature.

I think we should not bring back the old site but go forward. Why do we not have the option to customize it more. I am not interested in which songs I listened to the most but maybe in what I listened to the last three months compared to three months. I think the old and new site are way too static. Positive points: instant update of the counts, more charts. Negative points: Free MP3 is "thinking" for me. This way I will never discover new music like I did before. In stead my free MP3 shows some hard rock band. And I am not really listening to hard rock. Want the recommende radio station on my home page much more interesting than a station with songs I own and listen to a quadrillion times. I thought one of the incentives was the discovering of new music.

whith all that blank space on the right menu, why dont you show us more of everything ? more concerts we're going to, more visitors, more friends, more more more :)

Two suggestions: 1- have the shoutbox on the right hand side, closer to recent activity, IMHO it would encourage more shoutbox activity if one didn't have to scroll all the way down like we do now. 2- randomise groups the same way that 'friends' are randomised to keep things more interesting. Otherwise, the new version is growing on me and I'm starting to like it more than the old version, even though it took some time. Keep up the good work!

Can we get a page design that is dense with information and not with ridiculous amounts of useless whitespace? I understand you are trying not to scare the simpletons but how about not alienating sophisticated users as well....maybe give users a choice? Amazing idea isn't it. choice?

I <3 the new lastfm ! But I want: Moderated radio stations to explore new music (like Nouvelle scène on deezer.com) & the possibility to change your own nickname (at least for the subscribers, and even if that's possible every month only).

@smilingsin: please shut the fuck up. i can't believe you wasted all the space bitching about last.fm nearly a month and a half after the change...get over it. the home page is basically the same as the dashboard...if you can't figure it out you should leave...you're not even that old of a user and you're sitting here preaching about the "good ole days" like you're an original user...and if you're so crushed by the new layout please stop scrobbling and delete your account...why are all the whiners still scrobbling tracks? a true dissenter wouldn't continue using the site they scorn so much...please stop and go, enough already

Hi SkinBintin. Good you're glad. I now spend only a few minutes a week now whereas I used to spend hours and hours checking out my dashboard and related bands...

Hi Old_site_back. Thanks for the tip about the other music site :-)) I'll check it out.

HI Filozzi. Yeah, that was something I looked forward to in excitement too, but that's the least of my worry about the new site though ;-)
