Aa (pronounced ‘big a little a’) is an evolving rhythm experiment based in Brooklyn NY. Using treated vocals, keyboards, blissed-out electronics and tons of drums, the quintet has built up quite a rep with their rowdy live shows and compelling albums. Aa began as a three-piece in late 2002 and have shared the stage with bands like Sonic Youth, TV on the Radio, Lightning Bolt, xbxrx and the Fall. They have releases on Narnack, Cardboard, Kill Shaman, and DeathBombArc record labels.
