Balet was a Czech pop band, founded in 1985 in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic and former Czechoslovakia, by Petr Hejduk - a keyboardist of the famous Czech classic rock band Olympic. Their notable singers were Iveta Bartošová (in Balet's early years), Blanka Šrůmová (a vocalist of Tichá dohoda) and Jiří Malík. Their biggest hit was "Hej pane diskžokej" with Iveta Bartošová as a vocalist. The last song they recorded was "Dospělá" from 1989. Soon after, they split up. Balet's founder Petr Hejduk died in 1995 due to cancer.
