"Take It Easy" is a song written by Jackson Browne and Glenn Frey, and most famously recorded by the Eagles (with Frey singing lead vocals) on their 1972 debut album (released as the band's first single, it reached #12 on the US Billboard Hot 100). Browne later recorded the song as the lead track on his second album, For Everyman (1973), and released it as a single as well although it did not chart. The song is on the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's list of "500 Songs that Shaped Rock and Roll".
