Cendres de lune is the first album by the French singer/songwriter Mylène Farmer, released on 1 April 1986. The album was preceded by three singles: Maman a tort in March 1984, On est tous des imbéciles in February 1985, and Plus grandir in September 1986, which were modest successes. The lead single accompanying the album release was Libertine, which became Farmer's first top ten hit in France, thanks in no small part to an expensive, high-quality 10-minute video clip. The album was re-released on compact disc in April 1987 with the addition of the Tristana single and two remixes.
