Disco Ensemble (ja No Shame) Klubilla.
30 Aug 2007, 22:31 by annnim
No Shame oli lämppärinä. Tuli nähtyä nekin kolmanteen kertaan tälle kesälle. Ei ne huonoja ole, hyvän keikan taas vetivät. Miettisin jopa, että niitten levyn voisi jopa oikein ostaa joskus. -
Eclectic, supersonic

Take your top 20 artists. For each of these artists, collect the top 5 similar artists. The resulting number of unique artists is your eclectic score. If the score is small (extreme = 5) your musical preferences are very limited, and if it is large (larger than 80, extreme = 100), then you have an eclectic musical preference. You can compute your own score at http://anthony.liekens.net/pub/scripts/last.fm/eclectic.php
My eclectic score is currently

No Shame & Beautiful Pictures

Lapko & No Shame @ Annis 07.02.17.
Well, I intended to begin this entry with something very stunning about either of these bands, but I can't redeem what it was... but anyways, the frickin' great punk band, that makes Salo a better place to live in, No Shame, ended up playing first. And they were absolutely great. The boys really made the audience enjoy themselves, even more than Lapko did... which followed. They didn't really have a good gig. It sounded like shit. The bass wasn't even really played and thus the guitars were played not a bit wrong but alot wrong. But Paranoid was great :DD Gave me laughs.
Rock in the woods (Luvia 07.02.24.)
There were lots of bands playing, really... the first wasn't good at all. Props to guys anyways, but I didn't like it. The second band was better, but the voice of the vocalist just gave me shivers... oh, how I do hate female vocalists... Then... Ground, from our home-Pori... they were actually great; some Metallica-like good rock... thnx@, they really rocked. Verso was OK. Nothing special. Just some metal with none unique elements and... well. But the main act; Maj Karma!!! The concert was absolutely fantastic! Terrific! Adorable'n'loveable! Hard'n'heavy!! Maybe the best gig I've ever been on! Though I longed for some old classics, but you can't get everything. They played lots of songs from Sodankylä and Ukkonen, which are, indeed, great albums, but not as good as the old stuff, which I truly love <3 Thnx@!
(And I also have to apologize my crappy English... I'm a bit tired and sick, so that makes it. I'm sorry.)

Moi dix Mois Europe Tour 2005 -Invite to Immorality-, La Locomotive, Paris
Imagine my feelings: I'm maybe as the first finnish "ernu" (a different youngster, a name we call the youngsters listening j-rock) to see live one of the greates legends of J-rock, Mana-sama! @_@ The queue to the concert was up to three or four quarters long, I think; we personally managed to get a place in front of the Moulin Rouge (and to the limited edition dvd from that point 8D). And, what a shame, we didn't even notice Mana in the bus before the horrendous screaming, we were so excited... I only saw the hair of Kazuno. The expectations were in the clouds. We were still too back in the line, because we got quite a bad places from the audience; in some place back there behind a column, though in the Mana-sama-side. The concert itself was absolutely the best and the most beautiful and the greatest and the most lovely gig I've ever seen. Mana was BIG and he had trousers... now imagine it; trousers! On Mana! O.O But still, the brand new unmoved, the familiar monophobia and the concert finishing Pageant kept the air in the roof and Mana as the Idol.tm <3
Painajainen ennen Klustermusta II (The Nightmare before Klustermus II)
The best place to be active in a concert place is the backstage. In this event I was there the first time; you have to be an active roadie, but the gig's free and you get fed organized by Klustermus. The exceptations were high at least concerning the first and the third act: Lauri-Matti Parppei, the vocals of the beloved Itkis (Itkevä tyttö, The Weeping Girl) performed to us songs of Itkevä Tyttö accompanied with a piano and a lampet. It was an emotional and quite funny a performance, though PP didn't throw the banana :/. Lads of Excellence was the second act. I didn't except anything from them after I discovered that part of the guys were from Taipuva Luotisuora... also; progressive humppa. Yeah, one watched it as working, but didn't enjoy it; as the boys still can't play. I had heard a lot about the third act; the Dir en grey of Finland, Kuolleet Intiaanit (The Dead Indians) had arrived to our humble little home in the Cultural Center of Pori, Annankatu 6. Their theatral performance was spectacular, especially because they interfered with the audience and Ilmari Tuulenhalkoja (Ilmari Windbreacher) spoke to the phone during the song Olet surrealisti, eikö niin? (You are a surrealist, isn't that right?). As a minus; the threw Baltic sprats into the audience. It wasn't exactly a pleasant smell (it's still there..).. thank God they didn't hit me :D As last performed Lapko. This time we had to stay and watch it, both me and my (future) girlfriend, because we were both working there. They weren't so bad after all. No doubt a bit too "noise", but in the end I've always liked a bit more punkrock-style music... Quite a pleasant event, the feelings lasted 'till Klustermus.
Kirsikankukkacon 2005 (Cherry Blossom Con 2005)
The con was actually meant to be an animecon, but there was still a performance of... Delicious Orange.. from some reason I ended up hanging around in the backstage, though I shouldn't have been there. It might be because the whole band consisted of my friends (also I played temporarily bass in DO in 2005). Also, roadie job again. Pretty boys playing the pillows quite well, although masaru forgot the words once in a while... we co-sung from the audience with the right words, so that bastard (<3) could read 'em from our lips :D Quite a gig, though the lightshow was missing.
Klustermus'05
This marvellous event consisted from my part of three days work in a row... and from a Klustermus Screw -shirt <3. The first act, Euforia wasn't one of the most promising acts according to previews. I'm not a womanizer, but from my point of view women cannot be artists... only writers. And the band was as good as I expected. Nothing big. The bassist had a nice outfit and a bass (Warwick), but that's it. Fun had come all the way from Turku to perform in our festival, and it was funny by name and funny by nature. The guys knew how to play and so on. The best live-band of all Finland, Härkä-äiti (Bull-Mother), a regular band in Klustermus was here again. The boys did a great gig and when they played Kaksi aurinkoa (Two Suns), the rain stopped and the sun started shining :D. But anyways; pretty boys, great rock and so on, Tinde is our idol and Theo had his birthday. Poirot/Poiert was the next act, which I didn't watch at. I was elsewhere.tm. Maybe. Anyways I remember nothing of their performance. The fifth act was also a regular band of Klustermus; Taipuva luotisuora (The Bending Vertical). It just doesn't work even outdoors on a big stage. They guys just don't know how to play. Itkevä Tyttö though is a heavy thing. The concert was very excellent again; pretty guys played pretty music and the feelings where nearly up in the roof. And the heaven was our roof. "Itkis" always lives up to the exceptations. Then performed Lapko, which we didn't watch so intensively, the audience did, though. They didn't have "the thing" then. One couldn't grab of that punk. Nowadays yes, but not back then. Well, there was nothing bad in it. But this time the bands had changed their places, also this time Kuolleet Intiaanit was the finishing act: For Ilmari we had built a plain into the other PA-tower and put there a chair, from where he performed things (Asioita toimittelin [I performed things), a good song). The gig was yet this another time a success, though the band wasn't throwing fish this time, the monitor mixer did that job. We threw one of the fishes back to Ilmari, though.. But, a marvellous thing in all and everything, though the Klustermus "burned up" at 3.13 the next morning. :D
Iron Maiden @ Hartwall Arena
I don't remember, when this concert was held or anything, but it was quite a good gig anyways. And well, I saw a band I had already been fan of when I was younger. The feelings awoke a bit slowly, but it doesn't matter, they still awoke. (I don't remember anything of the warm-up act. ^^")
Karmarock 14
A festival, where it is meant to rain.. but after that frase was invented, it hasn't rained even once. A great weather it was, also. There was alot of neat stuff there; Happoradio (Acid Radio) played some neat music, though I didn't really listen to it. Acts like Soul Tattoo and Ahola & Saari went by as I was waiting for the main act, but I eventually wathched Kauko Röyhkä and Mattila performing. It was quite neat. The main act itself; Maj Karma took my voice away more badly than the Moi dix Mois did a bit earlier the same year. The concert was longer than the two earlier gigs I was in and maybe even better. My luck; their love song-tour had already gone and they served more classics, a few new songs and THAT drum solo. And I was a bit closer again. And touched Ylppö :). It worked. You can't get good kebab in Harjavalta. Hendrix2000, To Separate the Flesh from Bones, Timo Rautiainen, PMMP, Ceebrolistics and Melrose I had to miss to catch the train home after Karma.
Blood, VENGEANCE for BLOOD Tour 2005, Klubi, Turku
The second and the second best j-rock band I had seen since. That's what we had to begin with. It was a oneman. Without a drummer, which was a long minus. Also, the guys played quietly, didn't need any ears. But anyways, beautiful boys playing quite pretty music, although it wasn't the best j-rock I had heard. But I got the autographs of fu-ki and kiwamu (and I wanted just that of kaede's. -_-)
Klustermus-klubi (Klustermus Club) 19.8.2005
In Pori... at Annis! PuNk! A tough thing! Neat! Again, active as a roadie. And just a spoonful of guys. A tough job. Hurt my back :/. But the bands were great! No Shame was no bad punk group; pretty boys, a pretty bass and tough music. Very great. The boys knew how to play. The same can be said of Disco Ensemble, who performed the next and last. The tickets were more than sold out (I redeem 350) and the oxygen was finito. That didn't hurt the audience. A great band. Great things. PuNk.
Klustermus saapuu Kaupunkiin (Klustermus arrives at the City) 10.12.2005
It didn't take long until the Stoat Farm (Kärppäfarmi, a nickname to Klustermus as the main organizator is Koippa aka. Kärppä [that is Stoat]) returned to Pori. They must like us xD. This time only the regular/former groups of the farm were there. The first to go on-stage was Taipuva Luotisuora. It just has to be said again, that the space progressive rock isn't good and the boys aren't skilled... Härkä-äiti on the other hand lives always up to the exceptations. The feelings where higher than before, though the roof was lower. Tinde was getting rid of his social fears and so was the performance more lively, living like the music. Needless to say again what I'm always been telling of 'em. The last act wasn't the second best live band of all Finland, but Itkevä Tyttö, The Tough, The Beautiful, The New Testament... no, but yet again a successful concert. During the song
Carlos, robottikoira (Carlos, the robot dog) the feelings were the highest. The lighting of this event was actually the best in ages; a lampet always on and then some spots once in a while. Though job. One of the best Klustermus events ever.
