The Radar Bros. are an independent band based out of Southern California consisting of Jim Putnam (vocals, guitar, keyboard), Jeff Palmer (guitar), Senon Williams (bass) and Steve Goodfriend (drums). They are currently (2005) signed with Merge Records and represented by Ravenhouse Management.

The band has released four full length records, including Radar Bros (1996), The Singing Hatchet (1999), And The Surrounding Mountains (2002) and The Fallen Leaf Pages (2005). Their fifth record Auditorium (2008), will be released on January 28, 2008. They have headlined tours across the United States and played dates abroad across Europe, including the United Kingdom and Switzerland.

Christ I love these guys so much! I had no idea there was a new album: I was just visiting their page on allmusic basically to see whether they've split-up (a constant fear seems they're so tragically under-appreciated), and instead I found that Auditorium had been released just a couple of days ago... and it's utterly fantastic! On Nautilus and Lake Life are such stupendously good songs.
