Lead singer of Norwegian rock band Madrugada, and solo artist (second album as Sivert Høyem & The Volunteers) with the albums Ladies and Gentlemen of the Opposition (2004) and Exiles (2006). His unique voice has similarities with both Iggy Pop and Nick Cave as well as with the Doors’ Jim Morrison, and his musical neighbours are in this tradition: Melancholic, but melodic rock.
