I have to point out that their first works are very fine compositions as well! :)

I've been a happy owner of The Shadow Cabinet for months now, and it's kicking lots of asses, too. I don't think it is as good as FftMC, but definitely not far from it! Hell, if someone asked me who the best melo metal composer of the 2000s was, I might say Erik Ravn. T_T "Who?" Well, yeah. Why haven't they risen to, say, to the Edguy level, even beyond? Their later works are SO FANTASTIC GOD DAMMIT! :D

Yeah. But we need some patience until it arrives, as they wrote on the official site. But some of the song titles promises interesting things. :-) Mine favorites are The Mad Sailor and the The Desperate Poet, can't wait to hear them...

Yay! New album confirmed, will be called "SALT." Sounds different, but which Wuthering Heights albums sound similar to begin with?

Definitely. I still have only heard FFtMC, but it sooooo kicks ass all the way through. I get goose bumps every time I hear those Longing for the Woods themes during the album. :) I've heard their early albums are nowhere near as developed as the later works, though, but can't say for sure because I haven't heard them. TOO underrated a band. :P

This shit is so underrated it's making me cry inside. Hell, their underratedness even made me post in their shoutbox. I don't think I've ever posted in one of these things before. I really should get the two albums they released before FFTMC someday though... But they're so expensive. :( I don't really get why Demon Desire is at the top though. Easily the worst of their songs (that I've heard). Anyway, I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks they're underrated. :)

For the first time, I was pleasantly surprised. Now Far from the Madding Crowd is playing for the second time, and I'm sold. So heavy! Power, but not underlined, great folk music elements... and about as pompous as music can be without being ridiculous. _Manly_ band even though do metal some say is ridiculous. Man, what a combination! Definitely ordering the discography at some stage. <3

Sorry for the lack of 'Return's, can't be arsed to figure out how to do that in the shoutbox. Anyway, those are the lyrics. Enjoy!

Can you hear the shadows calling? It's the midnight song. Open doors that have been closed for far too long. Grey cats in darkness sing the midnight song. And when morning breaks its entry, they'll be gone. Olden slopes and golden ropes, nothing's what it seems. To know the morning you must learn the night. Shadow, for every light there be. Joy now! First rays of light I see..
