Zahl is the side project of Geir Zahl, perhaps best known as one of the two founders of Kaizers Orchestra. Zahl’s music is traditional americana mixed with some rock and traditional singer-songwriter style. The members of Zahl include Geir Zahl himself, Christer Knutsen, Pål Hausken, Bård Halsne and Eirik Lye. They released the album Nice for a Change in 2007, on Kaizers Orchestra’s record label Kaizerecords.
