Zolof the Rock & Roll Destroyer is an indie rock band that originated in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania through core members Vince Ratti,Rachel Minton, and Anthony Green. Their music is typically identified with the pop rock genre and is heavily structured and influenced by pop music. The members of the band define their music as “spunk rock” because of the bright, simple lyrics and catchy rhythms.

They were recently featured on MTV2’s Dew Circuit Breakout Challenge. unfortunately they lost (Halifax, was the winner). They just released a new album on itunes, which consists of B-sides and demos. they also have a cover version of “Riding Dirty”, available for free download on their myspace.

i think one guy commenting about how this band was better with Anthony isn't really anything to get your panties in a bundle about. as for that front, I think it all depends on what song you look at. Do you think Rachel would have done a better job in "Simon" or "Ode To Madonna"? IMO, the duet in "Moment" is also better than it is without Anthony. That said, songs like "Crazy = Cute" and "Argh... I'm a Pirate" are a perfect fit for her vocal stylings, and would most likely be better off with Anthony sitting out. It's completely situational, and what you feel like hearing.

hahaha! how can ANYBODY say this band was better with anthony green? the dude barely contributed anything to this band. his style just does NOT fit with the band's sound. they are absolutely adorable. i mean, i love Anthony Green's other musical projects for what they are, but it is ridiculous for somebody to claim Zolof is worse off without him. awful.

i didn't even know anthony green was ever in the band at all when i got into them they're still awesome and they were awesome mostly all the time, i think? i'm still pissed that i missed these guys when they cane to the UK. it was totally my fault, i just completely overlooked the whole tour accidentally. it sucks.
