anyways you have any reccomendations for which of Sufjan's songs/albums I should try first? I'm thinking I should listen to his best material to form an opinion....

yeah it just goes to show how one cannot judge or assume how a religion is by the media or what has been heard. When I visited the mosque, temples and synagogue I realised that each religion was much different then what I imagined. No wonder people get the wrong idea of Christianity, because the media and word of mouth gives a different impression of the Church then what it actually is.

Yeah it wasn't bad, got to go to a mosque and talk to a Imaam, sat through a jewish sabbath service, and went to two hindu temples and a buddhist and sikh temple as well.

I'll give both of them a listen, since i'm constantly on the look out for new stuff to expand my musical horizons :P. As for the weekend, yeah I went on a college trip yesterday for my "world religions" class.

yeah i actually haven't given Sufjan Stevens or Badly Drawn Boy much of a listen, I see you listen to a lot of switchfoot, have you tried Jon Foreman's solo folk stuff?
