Unfortunately I think I have tried this method, but I think this won't work for me as in my attempt to get the scrobbling working at work I had to attempt a re-install that failed. Because of my work's security, I was only able to install a VERY old version which doesn't give me the cache file like you mention, but instead I have the old format of "audioscrobbler.99.cache" file, which doesn't seem to upload. I guess I am fighting a lost cause unless I can get around it another way? Thanks for your help, though. :)

Yes, I am a moderator. This does however not mean that I am hired by Last.fm, I don't receive any money from them and I don't get to know that much inside info either. But feel free to contact me about mod stuff (like "waah, this user is being a meanie :("). Now, why would you choose me, and not some other mod? Other than me not having numbers in my nick, I have no idea.
Men jag är ju faktiskt svensk!
One thing though: if you want to report a user, please send me a PM and don't post it in my shoutbox, for my, your and his/her own sake.
Also, if you have a question about scrobbling and need some help with getting that to work, you'll probably get help that's better and faster in the forums.
But just because my icon is orange (yes, I can see that it is actually orange now, not yellow. You were all right all along...) doesn't mean I don't want to enjoy the site just like the rest of you. Music rawks. So go ahead and discuss/recommend/whatever.
Also, here are my CDs / DVDs.
