As the whole thing about artists with special characters has disappeared from this thread I thought the problem was fixed, but apparently all my plays for Röyksopp have been deleted! Really annoying... Does anyone know of a thread that mentions what was done about the special characters problem?

I made a thread about that once. Seems something was messed up when they changed to the new design. In my tracks list I have more plays for Someone like me than I have for Röyksopp in my artist list :-P. It didn't seem to affect Øystein Sunde or other artists with strange letters in them though...
