Hi Bil...yeah, I made it to the Manchester show. The band were very tight and on top form. It was an all standing gig which meant that i could get right to the front to take a few pics. If i ever find a place to post them I will. All in all, a great night which me and my wife enjoyed enormously my friend.

Good Morning, backatcha! Thinking of Dale as I'm playing some Tim Berne, Frank Wright and Peter Brotzmann. BTW, coming out of the house yesterday afternoon who should I run into but Tony Biglan going door to door to register voters - with Obama and Merkley pins smartly in place.

Yes, I like the whole album too, the song "Weakness" sounds similar to "Only Human". I like anything Todd produces (even the "Deface the Music" album)

About Me

I play the piano and I dream about playing like Bill Evans. I'm the only one out of 4 sibs who did not major in music. We were all classically trained and I was too rebellious to follow through, but my love for music did not stop with the lessons. My rebellion predictably led me to a steady diet of rock music until I finally outgrew that and discovered jazz in my twenties...okay, so I never REALLY outgrew Todd Rundgren :)...anyway, I was lucky enough to be living in Philadelphia at the time where jazz was everywhere and I learned a lot. I don't live there anymore and feel out of touch, plus I enjoy exploring and learning more about other genres, so here I am!
