I went for a looong walk this afternoon with my mp3 player on and obviously I did put some songs from the new Dears album....Lights Off is such a beautiful song, it wasn't my favourite but today it was perfect. Did I say I almost don't feel my legs anymore hehe but it was a great walk, it felt awfully good. There's not an once of energy left in me....but I managed to find you some goodies for you again. :p

Info...the french canadian cd I wanna send you (if and when I find it) is RARE which is so damn weird because it's not an old band, it's something that plays now but they're so not mainstream over here. I wanna hunt that cd down for you, that's my new mission. hehe

Haha but the french canadian album I wanna find for you is DEFINITELY not folk at all, it's more 'radiohead-ish'' and nope it's some guy I mentionned to you before. There are like only 3 french canadian alnums worth fidning for you, that would be those I like. hehe lol Yeah the music meter is slightly lower than it was a few days ago...too much Rachel on you side and too much of everything else on my side. :p

I'm gonna check her new cd then. Hmm I was thinking of including something french canadian in the next batch of cd I'm gonna send your way....I know what I wanna send, I just have to find it. hehe Oh check your inbox my friend, I need you to tell me something. ;)

Well probably before Xmas since I'm probably not gonna be able to wait forever...I'm actually just waiting to receive the items I ordered for you.:p Oh my friend, I do like to own the real thing but rest assure I ADORE the dvd you sent me, I meant when I have the possibility to have the real thing it's great but sometimes digital is fine when there's no other choice. ;) You're listening to Rachel Yamagata, it's so weird because I have one of her cds and I hardly listen to it. Hmm maybe I should give it a listen again.

But I also have many digital albums (roark..hmmm tunedout47 sent me quite a few ) although I only consider the original copies as the true thing. :p I haven't heard how a transfered LP sounds on cd but I would think it sounds nothing compare to the original sound of an LP or a CD. The thing is that some of those LPs I will never find on cd or I don't feel like putting a lot of cash on them since I have the LP version. I have some cool Siouxsie and the Banshees songs on a maxi and I've never been able to find them anywhere so I would enjoy listening to them once in a while on my mp3 player. Anyway I do prefer the original thing whether it's an LP or CD. Nowaways some LPs aren't made the way they were made back then so I try and find those identified as ' analog recordings' instead of digital. Oh....found some more goodies for you today. Now I'm only waiting to receive two items and keep them here for a few weeks, I want it to be your Xmas present so...gotta be a bit patient. :p

You only had the digital copy of ''Holler, Wild Rose!'' ? It's a good album for sure. I got an advanced copy so there's no inserts inside. See my friend, we really have to ask each other which albums we own. hehe Yeah, I checked rateyourmusic.com, looks cool. One day I'll probably write it all down on that site, that could be helpful. You know, I'm sure you have as many cds as I have (unless you have mostly digital copies?!), what I have that you don't are LPs....oh talking about LPs, there's this new turntable coming out in a month or so and it allows me to transfer LPs into cds directly (before you had to connect that type of turntable to the computer but I didn't wanna screw up my computer because of it so I never bought it ) and that kinda interest me a lot. :)

Ha yes good then, you're also gonna get that album. So you know the drill. :p Actually I do have the "Holler, Wild Rose!" album, it was a bit hard to find but I managed to find the cd a while back. hehe I should write down my entire collection one of these days, I did start writing it down but there were always new cds to add and at some point I wasn't sure what I had written down or not so I kinda gave up on the 'complete' list. :p
