Here is my first (long awaited ^^) journal entry, after one year and a half of intense last.fm-ing! As I spend my time listening and downloadng new stuff, i'm more and more thinking about blogging about music. Today I'm starting, and I think last.fm is the best place!

Alors pour vous lecteur français, vous vous demandez surement pourquoi tout le paragraphe ci-dessus est en anglais. Et bien moi aussi ^^. Je visite last.fm en version anglaise, alors ça doit être un réflexe. J'espere juste que la barriere linguistique ne vous arretera pas!

So here I am. Let's start!
My great discovery of last week is Calvin Harris and his album I Created Disco. This i a really funky electropop, just like if New Young Pony Club fired her singer to put a funny guy with a funky black voice. This is really similar to all those electropop/electroclash/electroindie groups coming from everywhere, if you like new young pony club, LCD soundsystem, uffie, goldfrapp, Hot chip or CSS, download it right now, i'm sure you'll like it.

These guys will make you be in a good mood for a day. Electronic music needs fun these days, and Calvin Harris really succeed by making you be just happy and smiling.

But you might say it's too pop. And you're right. Musically, it's something we've seen a lot of times already.. simple catchy melodies, simple electro beats but nothing really great you will listen to in repeat crying about how such gods these guys are, or should be considered as. I tell you this, you won't buy the album, you'll just like it.
