About Me

Ooh, new proflie!

I like Momoe Yamaguchi and MALICE MIZER lots and lots. Chiyo Okumura and a VERY close second. I like music from all over and from anytime, just as long as it's awesome in its own right. :D

I like catagories, and the big catagories I can find myself following, fit into including but no exclusive to:
Motown, 60s-70s English Rock, 30s-40s Pop, good "Visual Kei", 60s,70s and 80s Idol music, New Wave, Tetsuya Komuro-everything.

I've recently found and fell in love with Lee Mi Ja -- the Korean equivalent to Misora Hibari. She made music mostly in the 60s -> just increasing my love for the 60s and old pop music in general.

After previously giving up on Korean pop aside from Baby V.O.X, Jaurim and Lee Soo Young, I have found absolutely FANTASTIC recent Korean Pop in Wonder Girls and Bae Seul Ki. And I'm LOVING it.
I've also gone back and found some great new American music in the forms of Rihanna, Kanye West and various other delightful people.
Both of these discoveries are sustaining my new music need, because save for those artists I still follow as an avid fan (Shiina Ringo, Aya Ueto, Namie Amuro and Arashi), Japanese music has been quite lackluster for a while now. :(
