Besides, it says that I am interested in ...Anglo-Saxon paganism AND mythology. I will add a coma there so as not to confuse people. I also state a sentence or two later, that I am interested in church history. So maybe I got my history wrong and accidentally called the Britons the A-S's or something, I am not very keen on their history, I am more interested in Celtic mythology than their history. The history that interests me is dark age to renaissance middle and eastern Europe. I like Celtic mythology because I am partly Celt, and I like the European history because I am Lithuanian, Italian and German.

Anglo-Saxons were Scandinavians that settled the British Isles and were slaughtered by the Romans (whose religion was officially christian) and whoever changed over to christianity and shunned their pagan ways would be spared and/or not outlawed. That is why all the christian holidays coincide with pagan holidays: Easter (named after Norse goddess of spring/ spring equinox), Christmas (Yule/ winter solstice), Halloween/ All Saints Day (Autumn equinox), days of the week: Tuesday (god Tews various spellings from Norse mythology), Thursday (named after Thor), among others....The shitty christians made it easier for our pagan ancestors to adapt to the stupid religion thrust upon them. So yes, they are christians now, but were not until forced by the romans in the 6th or so century CE
