Your library offered up a lot of stuff that I had not listened to in years, and spurred a search on last.fm radio for similar stuff, which kept me entertained throughout a mindless project in the office yesterday. It was a lot of fun! It's good to revisit some of those old bands of the 70s. I forget sometimes just how good a lot of the progressive music really was...so much more creativity than what seems to be out there now. My husband was listening to Yes to the other night, a band that I saw a couple of times way back when and really loved at the time, so I've been getting a double dose of the past recently!

Back from 2 hot days @ Lolla. Wish Perry Ferrell would do like Brits do-- present more "old-timers" to today's broader audience. Last year @ Lolla: Patti Smith (dear-friend of TR). At TR concert in Woodstock on Mon, a Todd fan told me Brendan Benson from the Racontuers took inspriration from TR. The Racconteurs played at Lolla Fri. Imagine Jack White & TR onstage-- amazing!

Hi Craig. I like your cat...got one in my brood that looks just like yours. I see we are both on the same Todd jag this week. I just saw him last week; played the entire new yet-to-be-released "Arena" album. Can't wait to get my hands on that one. It's really amazing how hard the guy is still rocking at 60. I've been following him for over thirty years now and never get tired of listening to him.
