What a good and interesting piece of work. Shame this vein of creativity got pretty good and stomped on.

It's fairly messy in parts but this was definitely Air at their most daring, it would have been awesome to see them develop it more and keep pushing forward.

AIR's stunning, moody 'Dark Side of the Moon Safari'! A seriously underrated "lost classic" that holds up amazingly well today (or at least better than it did in '01, when the public was unfairly expecting 'Moon Safari 2.0', then got bummed when it didn't happen...). I still have hope that AIR will someday make a return to the weird, dark 'n heady psychedelic-world-of-sound they brilliantly started with 'The Virgin Suicides' and then perfected here.

Reading the comments I thought this album was the best thing since sliced bread or something. first listen, didn't much like it. Premiers Symptomes, Moon Safari, The Virgin Suicides, Talkie Walkie... all better albums in my book. I'm sure I'll like it better with more listens, but I know what I like. this is not my ideal Air.

just what the hell happened to air after this album, it's almost like someone blackmailed them into making all these lounge crap albums

I may be alone in saying this, but I still think this is their masterpiece. Weird is good.

completely underrated. not as good as Talkie Walkie or Pocket Symphony, no, but i find it better than Moon Safari in some aspects. might be musically harsh, but it's wonderful to explore.

An amazing album, totally underated. The more you listen, the more you are rewarded. What would have been the point of them doing something that was exactly like Moon Safari?
