Bob uit Zuid ('Bob from South') is a hiphop artist from Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
His first track, 'Zuid', popped up on the compilation album 'DE FIK 1' (2020). His self-titled début album, Bob uit Zuid, was released in May 2022 on Excelsior Recordings, with the single (and cult hit) 'Karpervissen' preceding it.
Although Bob uit Zuid's music is hiphop in many ways, he uses bluesy guitar riffs rather then electronic beats and performs live with a band. His work has been described as "Dutch-language Beastie Boys with Black Keys riffs".
