Perhaps they should've used more of the hammond synths here. The non-hammonds make it sound incredibly dated, but then again I never really liked this particular album all that much. Always liked the heavier side of early and latter Europe, but Kee Marcello does some really cool guitars on this one.

Plenty and plenty... For every hammond on this album there's a compensation of an equal amount of cheesy and dated 80's synthesizers. When I saw Europe play tracks from this album live they only used the hammonds. The chorus in "Superstitious", for instance, also had its non-hammonds replaced by more hammonds. They sounded so much heavier live, not to mention more timeless as well.

Europe are pretty crap, but Kee marcello makes this album listenable and makes very enjoyable guitar solos.

Easily my least favorite. Prisoners in Paradise being the last album by them that I have bought.
