GasmaskAvenger
you can totally see how Fall of Because not only gave way to the Godflesh sound, but also the sound of side A of Napalm Death's Scum.

This displays the roughest elements of the early Godflesh formula (Swans-influenced rhythmic pressure, guitar feedback abuse) as well as some of the ideas which didn't get much further development in Godflesh (wall-of-noise guitar freakouts akin to no wave, hints of extreme punk reflecting Broadrick's fascination with Discharge). The latter features were probably dropped out in favour of more balanced composition, instead early Godflesh delivered more neat grooves, machine beats and some "Frenzy"-style dissonant riffs as a nod to Killing Joke. Those interested in what Godflesh could sound like if the radical elements of FoB were preserved should check out Skin Chamber.

Haha, this just came up in my radio station and I saw that the title was Devastator and the album was Life is Easy and I thought, what is this, a Godflesh tribute band? Then I read the description.
