OML is incredible. 10/10, a lot of the songs here resonate with me, especially after Chester's death.

I absolutely love this album. It's fantastic. Tomorrow is the 6th anniversary of the release and I'm listening to the entire thing right now. The production and songwriting are out of this world on this album. I still don't know if this one is my favourite LP album or A Thousand Suns. Both incredible albums with completely different assets. I don't really care if it's pop or if it's not the entire band's effort, I just judge the music and the music on this album is awesome.

Yeah, i get isn't good, and some production hasn't age well, but some tracks really growing on me, it's not that bad for me, objectively isn't good. I'm not defending the problems this album has. But this point I don't really care about the pop change. I like it

I mean, since hybrid theory, there has been pop elements in all of Linkin Park, isn't the problem that is pop, it always has been.

I loved this album and played it to no end the summer of 2017. In retrospect, it's aged a little poorly. The production already sounded like a dated pop trend from 2010, which contributes to it - but after ATS Mike tended to use older production fads in their music in general. I still think NCSM and SFN are among their best songs, but the rest of the album tends to be forgettable for me these days. Not a terrible album by any means, but not a great one either.

I don't think it's as great as Hybrid Theory or Minutes to Midnight, but the three are completely different albums and good in their own ways. While I think those two are of better quality, if I'm in the mood for this side of LP, I love it.

Everyone wanted to compare this to ‘Hybrid Theory.’ That attitude is overkill, IMO. There’s almost no LP in my library because I was kind of over the angsty rock style since halfway through high school, before I reset my library. People will pick my library apart for having more frivolous rock and some pop, but before you judge the validity of taste based on something like that, let me say Fuck Off. Seeing the video for “Breaking the Habit” is one of my most vivid and impactful memories of MTV, but this is the first album that really made me take notice of LP in adulthood because of its particular form of lyrical realness, although it’s not really in my library before recently either because the suicide made it hard to listen to. For once it was the reviewers and people booing at concerts trying to be edgy. Is it perfect? No; but fuck the haters who called it like a sell-out disaster. Chester was right to get so angry about that. Let a band experiment w/o being a dick about it.

this is actually my favorite linkin park album, wasn't surprised to see all the hate when it came out because of the change of direction though. the lyrics here are really meaningful and well put together though and the beats are all really nice sounding. none of the things i generally dislike about this band are present on this album lol.

This isn't that bad... I stayed away from this until today and wanted to give it a chance. Not their best, but not the worst either.

Yeah, I really actually like this, it's not a master peice but iti s a good Electropop record with pretty great lyrics with some really out-standing songs. It never goes into utterly awful tterritory, if you are looking for Nu Metal or something, you will hate this of course, but man, this is far better than most of Electropop out there, far better than say Imagine Dragons/Maroon 5.

It is totally in the same genre as those two, don't get me wrong, but I feel like this record has better song-writting, production, hooks, melodies and lyrics which really grab me. Maybe I am just justifying my bad taste too much, I am not sure, but this album resonates with me on a lot of its moments. A mature look at mental health problems with nice Electropop.

Back in 2017 when the reviews bombed this album to hell, I stayed away from it and didn't even bother. Well, now in 2020 I listen to it, simply because I liked the band once and guess I should try it at least. Absolutely not my cup of tea. Not into Pop and even for Pop standards it is awfully average. But the lyrics actually took me in. Listening to this album pretty much explains why Chester ended his life. I find it unbelieavable that the band members and family didn't suspect anything. Really horrible that the bad reviews around the album might have pushed Chester over the limit... Rest in peace.
