Biography
A five-piece assault of atmospheric noise with guitars hearkening back to The Jesus and Mary Chain and My Bloody Valentine and melodies steeped in the mid-90's rock of Suede, The Smashing Pumpkins and Radiohead.
Love Culture's recordings are a complete ethereal aural experience which, when contrasted with their often searingly loud, reverb and feedback-drenched live shows has put them on the pedestal for being one of the more interesting and visceral bands in the Midwest. Live, they have progressed at each show, and after the limited release of their first EP "Aquamarine" they have set sights on a sophomore EP titled "Drag" which is slated for release on January 14th, 2011.
At the end of the night it's still five people staring at the abyss and trying to imagine something beautiful at the end.
