This was an incredible debut album, and it still sounds just as good today. Classic album.

I wasn't old enough when this came out to actually be interested in music, but listening to it today really takes me back to the 90's. It might sound wrong judging by the album's aggressive sound and all, but the joy in being a child back in the 90's really comes back to me when I listen to this. It's just got that awesome 90's feeling all over it.

I think only The Blackening is better. Damn good CD [2] Though this CD will be forever MH's most influential release, when Blackening was released, groove metal was more established than when their debut came out, and this CD helped make the genre bigger.

One great thing about last.fm is you can post short little reviews, and opinion postings. This album is one of the best things to happen to Heavy Music, especially when it was released. The mixture of extremely heavy music with dark, melodic, and moody guitars and vocals is ahead of it's time. I know Soul Of A Machine from Fear Factory set standards for this type of sound, but Burn My Eyes is a masterpiece. Every song on it rules--from beginning to End.

Best Mushy Ned album ever, closely followed by TMTC. Kontos was a monster behind the kit.
