Yeah this is definitely in my top 5 black metal albums. It's crusty and doesn't afraid of anything.

This album is perfect! I can't believe I put off listening to this band for so long.

This is a lot more accessible than I thought it would be. Some really tasty riffs to be found here. I especially like the second and third tracks.

"The album's subtitle itself incorporates the title of Pink Floyd's 1971 breakthrough album Meddle, while the album's opening track, "One of These Nights", is a homage to the Meddle's "One of These Days."" End of discussion.

I personally think Worldfall/Assassins represent real important steps in Nachtmystium's development as an individual band, and don't understand all the naysaying arising from the silly USBM subkvlture peanut-gallery over a few catchy hooks and self-indulgent frippery. As if they were ever that TRVE to begin with. Get over it.

great album. It's written Part 1 on the CD though (rather than Pt. 1), so that's how I'm gonna scrobble it.

this album really is great. i had a huge smile the first time through, catching the Floyd reference and all. sadly, i missed their record release show last weekend. @mutiilator: if you like the sound of the saxophone, you should check out the band Bruce Lamont is in, Yakuza. their last one was also recorded by Sanford Parker - they're fantastic - and one of my favorite live acts to see in Chicago.

Incredible album, indeed, regardless of the flak it's receiving from some retards. I love the evident Floyd influences in titles and music, and how - like Negura Bunget did for the xylophone on "Om" - they can effectively incorporate a saxophone into the last tracks. The "Worldfall" EP is definitely worth checking out, too.
