Never could quite understand the appeal that this album has for so many. Of course it's not bad, and sure, it has a few (by now) iconic anthems, but coming after the ground-breaking trio of Sheer Heart Attack, 'A Night' and 'A Day', it doesn't seem to hold up so well. Gladly after this the sails caught full wind again with Jazz and The Game.

I hate jazz, this album completely annihilates it. Jazz is all over the place with no consistency and has weak songwriting and compositions imo, theres only 5 good songs and the album especially with the drums sounds like it was produced in a tin can

I have a lot of time for this album, has some great songs. But the weird running order has always baffled me. Surely We Will Rock You and We are the Champions should be at the end of the album. Having them at the beginning makes the whole thing unbalanced IMO. Having said that, some of the great Queen songs are on this album and it's one of my favourites - along with Jazz.

Basically - hell, literally - everything here is better than the two big ones. It's Late is one of their best ever.

Hell no, the two big ones are fantastic, just like the rest, probably Queen's best album, no bad song on here

It's funny how today the first two songs here annoy me...and the rest is pure awesomeness with great numbers like "all dead, all dead", "spread your wings", "fight from the inside", "Get Down, Make Love", "It's Late". Great and sometimes forgotten highlights (like almost everything they released in the seventies).

That Family Guy joke wasn't even that funny, it was just a cheap pop culture reference. Calm down.
