https://musicbrainz.org/recording/a3c32e26-85df-4c92-b069-238adbacf466 In 1971, someone parked a Porche 908 on a trailer in my garage. I can't remember what I bought sight unseen but, James Dean used to drive one and this one was owned by Mickey Magoo or McCoo. My Mother said she met him a the College of Art at the University of Utah. I was a little to small to start it or take it off the trailer but one day Mickey took me for a ride in it. He said not to worry about the car not having plates on it. Maybe he was Mickey from the Monkees show and coincidentally I can remember a friend of mine making a Super-8 movie of me and asking me to act like a dog and to pretend to urinate on a hydrant. The friend was Sid Stevens, a D.D.S. in Arizona and, said he was going to show the movie to all the people in our School - Roosevelt Jr. High. It was a cool race car with 4 velocity stacks and web seats. We drove around the streets and I used to ski with Mickey's girlfriend Kay Kuzminski.

Because JerryZola25, when The Monkees were formed only Micky Dolenz could sing or play any instruments. That is what was meant.

not sure what planet DCSaltarelli is on below - all 4 members contributed to a great band - not one single member - got all their albums - all superb

I liked and respect Davy Jones, but he was not the Monkees. Mickey Dolenz was The Monkees.
