Viola Beach were a British indie pop group, formed in Warrington in 2015. The band consisted of Kris Leonard (guitar/vocals), River Reeves (guitar), Tomas Lowe (bass) and Jack Dakin (drums). Their sudden deaths in a car crash in Sweden received extensive media coverage from numerous sources including BBC News, NME, The Guardian, Daily Mirror and Australia's Nine Network.
