Is there a lot of discography with Peter green in Fleetwood Mac? Even if you scrape the bottom of the barrel?

I’ve heard songs off of it. I wanted to listen to their music since I like the psychedelic rock sound. I already knew Oh Well and it was my favorite Fleetwood Mac song but I recently heard a metal band I like cover the green manalishi.

Strange! It's the same for me too. "Your compatibility with TREMOLO68 is Very Low. You both listen to Sun Ra, Can and John Fahey." Good to see you've been listening to lots of Erik Satie - keep meaning to explore his work further than the serene Gymnopédies... can you recommend any good recordings?

I'm relatively new to Satie myself. I discovered his material through Yusef Lateef's cover of First Gymnopedie on his Psychicemotus album. What I've heard of the Vexations collection was pretty good, but I am a little lost as to what Satie album I would get on vinyl. Here's a link to my vinyl collection which I've catalogued on Discogs if you're interested: https://www.discogs.com/user/TREMOLO68/collection

Great stuff! Interestingly, our compatibility is now High again - we both listen to Betty Davis, The Fall and Digable Planets! I think that they've tweaked the meter to make it more short-term focused, which is a shame perhaps. I've consciously been listening to as much new stuff as possible this year - either new to me / reissues or new albums. Here are some jazzy albums you might enjoy - Angel Bat Dawid - REQUIEM FOR JAZZ; Jairus Shariff - WATER & TOOLS; Emahoy Tsegué-Maryam Guèbrou - JERUSALEM; The Holy Tongue - DELIVERANCE & SPIRITUAL WARFARE; Patrick Shiroishi - EVERGREEN; ROBERT NORFLEET & BE PRESENT ART GROUP; Pan Afrikan Peoples Arkestra - 60 YEARS; Knoel Scott & Marshall Allen - CELESTIAL. Sorry for the mighty list, got a bit carried away - this is the short-list!

‘68 was really good too for sure. Seeing as how you’ve listened to Yusuf Lateef. I got his Blue album, released in 68, on vinyl. I almost couldn’t believe I managed to get it. The same thing when I got Aretha Franklins I never loved a man like I love you. Sometimes you just get lucky.

Happy 3rd scrobbling anniversary today! ... how time passes by listening to your >261k scrobbles ... May you experience many such musical cake days, and many good things in 2020 ... Let me present this track (e.g. available via deezer) to your anniversary: ... genre: experimental/minimalistic -> ... "3 plus 3 is not 1" (this track has 97 BPM): ... https://www.last.fm/music/Erkan+Y%C4%B1lmaz/_/3+plus+3+is+not+1 -> this is the 1st track, from 5th album ("Maestro 2015 (piano edition)") ... btw: here in Germany we now have to wear face masks when driving bus, shopping and so on... And in your place, Adam?

I agree on the Half-Mute for albums, and maybe even Holy Wars and some parts of Desire too. Really majestic saxophone and overall sounds very atmospheric. I should buy records again, would sound pretty nice on a record player,

Hello. That's an interesting question. There's at least three separate types of answers I can think of to answer that. Worst as in lamest: Thirteen Tales From Urban Bohemia by the Dandy Warhols would be right up there. Worst as in so bad it's funny: Kim Mitchell's I'm a Wild Party. Worst as in just plain bad and awful: I don't know, maybe one of Aaron Carter's "albums". I haven't given the answers much thought, but they're immediately what came to mind. What about you?

im probably gonna have to agree with you with that aaron carter record, just like the embodiment of the worst cliches of the 90's, though i do have a large hate bone for all harsh noise music. i can understand the concept of artistically, but i cant get into one without developing a massive migraine

After the album Future Days, what do you think about the albums like Soon Over Babaluma or Landed?

I really like Soon Over Babaluma and think it sounds somewhat similar to Future Days. I like it so much I've got it on vinyl. As for Landed, I honestly haven't given it too many listens so I can't claim to have an opinion on that one. In general I love the 1968-73 era the most and haven't been as taken with the material after that period.

Soon Over Babaluma is pretty nice, also really love Flow Motion a lot too. But I do agree on the 68-73 era, Tago Mago and Ege Bamyasi are revolutionary albums as well as Future Days. Not so familiar with the latter albums other than Flow Motion and Soon Over Babaluma but I think Damo Suzuki wasn't the vocalist on albums after Future Days.

To be honest I haven't really discovered a whole lot of new bands. I still keep my ears open, but I'm rarely surprised. I've mainly just been concentrating on getting my favourite albums on vinyl. I like having a tangible copy of the things I love. How about you? Have you heard any good new bands?

To be honest I haven't heard Jamie Cullen, but I'll check him out. I tend towards the really popular players between about (1955 - 1975). Obviously love both Coltranes, Pharaoh Sanders, Grant Green, Kenny Burrell, Eric Dolphy, Davis, Archie Shepp, Graham Bond.. That should give some idea of my palette

If that is your Jazz taste then avoid Cullen. He will disappoint with his watered down commercial crap. Yeah Miles Davis, Alice and John Coltrane are Jazz deities and Pharaoh Sanders is always a pleasure to listen to. Have you an opinion on Sun Ra (assuming you've heard his work)?

You've scrobbled a lot of good stuff, I see you've played Lizzy Mercier Descloux recently, I've just started to get into her stuff after hearing he cover of Arthur Brown's Fire, she's very fun to listen too. You can't go wrong with Sonic Youth or Syd Barrett either.

What's your favorite Spacemen 3 album? I always thought the 80s were the decade of metal, but dude, I'm glad I was wrong, I just picked up some Spacemen 3 albums to listen and it's mind-blowing, I really loved their space rock/neo-psychedelia, so I'm looking foward to get the albums on vinyl now.

That's a tough one. I used to think Perfect Prescription, but if you like that then Performance is an even rawer version of these songs. The Taang CD version of Performance includes songs from Playing With Fire added on to the end, which is a really welcome bonus.. But right now I have to say Playing With Fire is the album where their guitar sound really sort of came to an apex. So.. if you have to get one I'd say Playing With Fire. If yr hooked get all 3 that I've mentioned ;)
