I took piano there briefly, followed by 6 years of operatic training (also there) with William Perry.

I'd like to learn to write and perform music as the artist. Obviously this is risky so I plan on double majoring in that and Spanish (or some other language). The instrument is the problem: I've only been playing guitar for about 2 years (not power chords and riffs, though, quality note reading etc), and barely know any piano, and while my grades and test scores can get me in to a decent+ school, most schools are requiring auditions so I'll be up against classically trained kids. I'm not sure if I'll be able to even get a university education in music this way.

I have two more to upload, the quality of both is considerably worse than those three but still listenable for fans. Should be up in a matter of days. By the way, as you're an associate of a music conservatory, would you happen to have any particular advice on musical education? I'm a high school senior strongly considering majoring in theory or composition when I go to college next year.

About Me

I am an associate of the royal conservatory of music - piano department. I mainly play classical and new age. I have 9 compositions to date ranging from minimal, ambient, new age, and classical. Sometimes I play in small orchestra groups in Ontario. I am also into heavy alternative medicine and love the idea of music therapy and hope to do something in that field as side work. Music is basically my way of life, and I could not embrace it more.
